Our summer concert at St Cyres School in Penarth went off without a hitch last week, helping to raise over £1200 for charity!
Penarth and Llandough Hospital Staff Community Choirs and Victoria Voices from Penarth Primary School came together to give fantastic performances – there was even a bit of beat boxing! The event couldn’t have gone ahead without the hard work and dedication of Clare Gardner, who organised and prepared the choirs.
Between a banquet of home-made cakes, beautiful flower bouquets and great prizes to be won through the raffle, the concert was a great success.
We’d like to thank everyone who helped out, as well as everyone who came along to enjoy the event with us. Half the proceeds will go towards the music department of St Cyres School, while the other half will be donated to our Charity of the Year, Bullies Out.
Keep an eye on our blog for information about our next fundraising venture – there’s still more money to raise!
